Replacing the cutter sensor in TL4981 Centauri Carbon Canvas kit

If your wire has become damaged or separated from the cutter sensor PCB, the spare part 002012 Centauri Carbon V2 Filament Cutting Detection PCB is a suitable replacement.

Fix it as follows: Full process is here

1. Remove the fan shroud & hotend (if not already removed)

   

2. Unplug the fan power cable on the right of the hotend bottom PCB

   

3. Undo the single 2mm screw to the left of the fan assembly and remove the fan

   

4. Undo the two Philips screws on top of the PCB

   

5. Remove & replace the PCB, screw it down

6. Reinstall in reverse order, cable leads to the left and up
