- Tap the Enter button to lock in the change.
See the video for the process.
My MP3741 20A does not have F04 or F08 in the Battery menu
If your MP3741 does not have F04 or F08 in the menu as shown above, you will need to update the firmware in the unit as follows - if you do not have the black USB cable, it is available as MP3747:
- Place the controller and a 12v battery next to a Windows PC you will use to update it.
- Connect the negative battery wire from the controller to your battery negative
- Have the battery positive wire ready to connect - a switch would be best for this
- Download this file to a Windows PC
- Extract the files inside the ZIP to a folder on your PC
- Open CH343SER-USBDriver, browse to your Windows version and run the Setup file inside
- Click through Setup until it is complete
- Plug in the black cable with the network plug to the controller, and USB plug to the PC
- Right-click the Windows icon in the Taskbar, then click Device Manager.
- Check the COM port is installed in Device Manager and note the COM number (3, below)
- Double-click the PrgUpgrade file
- Press Load Proram and select the file "ST_TracerAN_V201.prg"
- Select the COM port your PC installed, and press Open
- Connect the controller positive wire to the battery positive
- The program should show a progress bar, and end looking like this
You can now disconnect the cables, and the controller will have F04 / F08 when reconnected
