You can reset the password on your Concord Security system, as long as you have the unit connected to a TV screen or PC monitor, screen, and the mouse is plugged in.
Most recent Concord Security systems (ones with -V2 or -V3 model numbers) have a pinhole on the back that allows you to reset the password.
They look like the ones below- if your unit has this pinhole, press a toothpick or opened paperclip into the hole to depress the button, and hold it for at least five seconds. The screen will change and offer to set a new password. For units with a -V3 model number, you will need to hold the button in for about 15 seconds, and it will factory-reset the unit (it will not wipe recorded video though).
You can then use the mouse to enter a new password in the New Admin Password and Confirm boxes on the screen, and press Apply to save it.
If your unit does not have a reset pinhole, please call 0800 235 328 9am to 5pm AEST Monday to Friday and ask to be transferred to technical support. Be in front of your unit with the mouse and screen connected. Staff will ask you for some details from the screen, and can reset the password for you immediately.
If you need assistance, please call 0800 235 328 9am to 5pm AEST Monday to Friday and ask to be transferred to technical support.
